ESP MUSE - delay before standby - battery indication

Hi,
New to the community. Have my ESP MUSE LUXE since yesterday. I want to use it as an always on speaker (alarm/security notifications).
I have left it powered on (battery power - not connected to mains) for the night but can see that the device became unavailable after 10 hours.
Battery indication at that time 3.11V

Any of you who has a clue on the following:

  1. is there a automatic standby (after certain time interval) that makes the speaker unavailable? If so how could I go around that one?
  2. How to interpret the V reading output of the battery indicator. I would asume that 0 V means the battery is empty but I have seen the dropout (speaker unavailable at at 3.11 V). When I used the physical button to reboot this morning (without charging) it died a 3.14 V.

If I know that intermittent charging prevents standby/dropout because of battery I could automate that with a plug (want to prevent continuous power consumption).

Thanks for sharing any thoughts/experiences.

btw: for those who still consider a purchase, I’m happy with the product!

It would appear your speaker is not charging. I leave my Muse Luxe connected to a charger 24/7 and this does not happen.

Are you using the micro USB charging port?

The USB-A port does not charge the device.

HI Tom,
Correct speaker was not connected to main. Should have made that more clear in the post (will edit). I wanted to check how long I could leave it powered on before battery drain.

I’ll take your experience of leaving it connected (and maybe also monitor what that means in terms of consumption.
