For people who are interrested and are unable to make their own module, I have some pre-assembled with software on it available: https://www.switch-is.nl/product/espsomfy-rts.
Currently I am looking into trying to improve the code, but it is of a low priority to me as it has a learning curve, but I might be willing to take it over in the future.
For example I would like to improve the wifi enroll procedure by using a captive portal solution like ESPHome does and fix other issues if and when they arrise.

You can easily have the original remotes and espsomfyrts in parallel. The esp communicates as a remote to the shades. I do not know how many remotes each shade is able to handle, but i have two plus espsomfyrts
Does the espsomfy work for you as good as remote. I have RTS zebra blinds and a lot of times when I try control those from HA or from ESPSomfy page blinds don't close/open....Wondering how do i sync current status, I have tried to close the blinds completely but its still a hit or miss from HA. Would appreciate any help.
Yes works as aspecten. Sometimes you have te recalibrate but that is as simple as giving the UP commando until it closes and the it is in Sync again.
Did you time the opening and closing duration and have used those values or left it at default to 10000...I have timed each blind and am using those values wondering if that could be cause of unsync although ideally it should be better with actual numbers. Wondering how it is working for others.
I timed opening and closing and the esp is appr 2 meters from the screen to be sure there is no hickup in sending or receiving signals.
I've tried to get 2 Olimex and 2 CC1101 modules working according to the instructions on the wiki.
The modules still aren't being recognized. ("Radio not initialized")
Has anyone managed to get this combination working?
