As far as I am aware there is no ESPHome support for this, yet.

13uS after pressing ‘Create Post’ I realised I probably should have posted in the Hardware category 
Oh my goodness I’m going to by a pile of these. A mesh network makes so much more sense for sensors spread out over a property. Are they available anywhere yet?

I hoped the ESP32 board would become smaller, but they are getting bigger and complexer.

I really think this is the path to follow for EspHome.
In my case, I have less esphome devices that I would like just because of power consumption. I can’t put a wire everywhere I need a sensor.
Having support for zigbee/matter boards will boost the project a lot!
