Box-3 is configured with Assist pipeline - Home Assistant cloud, and Wake word engine location - On device.
Booting box-3 I get the 3 dots… and then the ‘grey house with the smiling face’ - So do believe the firmware is installed (24.7.5.1).
At the ESP Device/box-3, when flipping ‘LCD Background’ or ‘Mute’ the screen turns off on the box, so we do have communication between the Box-3 and HA.
But saying the wake word ‘ok nabu’ (or chaning the wake words) does not change the screen - I was expecting in to become blue… nothing happens. - would say it is deaf… Tried ‘ok nabu turn off office lamp’ (Office lamp is exposed to assist) - it ignores me
Did select the wrong one first… got just a white screen… but have changed that and do get the images now… 3 dots for booting, and grey house with smily face…
Hi - I do hear a small ‘crackle’ when switching detecting between home assistant and device… noticed that the first couple of times, I got a ‘sad face’ for a split second when switching back to ‘device’ and then it changed back into grey smily face.
But after doing the changes 10 times it just stays at the grey smily face, but it clicks each time…
Guess the clicking indicates that I have connection between the box and ha…

Okey - think I have solved it … guess it is a language issue…
Coming from Denmark - we do have the ‘word’ OK - pronounced O and K . so when the wakeword is ‘ok nabu’, I would say - ‘O K nabu’ which does not work…
For fun, I tied to let HA say ‘ok nabu’ - used the ‘try voice’ in the assist definition - and typed ‘ok nabu’ - and it says ‘Okey nabu’ - for a dane, that is different then ‘ok nabu’.
And the Box-3 reacted to this… so letting HA say ‘ok nabu’ and then I would say ‘turn on the office light’ and the ligt is turned on, and box-3 is responding - chaining screens.
It all works fine…
And after a bit of practice, I can also say ‘okey nabu’ the way that HA does, and the box3 reacts…
So, it it working… just a bit of language mixup and pronouncing…
