From what I can read around on the web, it seems that the ESP8266 based esp boards cant handle more than ~71 minutes of deepsleep if its being set to only sleep for a duration of time. I’ve had success with up to 120 mins my self on a Wemos D1 Mini though, but anything beyond 3 hours and the ESP will never wake up.
If i were to use a Wemos S2 instead though, would i be able to go beyond 3 hours?
I would like to have a ESP that only wakes up once a day only if that is possible.
