Just got back into town.
The led is permanently flashing. I don’t have a switch hooked up to it yet. It’s not showing as connected in HA either. Not sure why it doesn’t work.

Did you figure out what was happening?
The (status) LED continually flashing means its not communicating with Home Assistant.
Its possibly:
Not connected to WiFi
Not added as an ESPhome device - You should at some point get a notification (in notifications) that a new device has been found. You then need to clicking the notification link and follow the instructions to add it.
I suspect that you’ve probably solved it by now, but I am still curious as to what went wrong.

I ended up removing my Google WiFi and just use my router as the WiFi. It was just too complicated to figure out so I removed a layer of complexity.
