ESPHome Alarm Control Panel - Control via MQTT

Hi there,

I want to setup a ESPHome Alarm Control Panel and communicate via MQTT with it (only).
Since I have a NodeRed installation running on my home server I would like to integrate the Alarm Control Panel there and being able to fully control it from there.
Is that possible?

I had seen this page already.
I hoped somebody would post an example of a working alarm panel.
I would still appreciate if so :slight_smile:
Meanwhile I’ll try my best by following the instructions of the MQTT component description.

@Fallingaway24 Again I’m honestly wondering why you reply so upset.

When I opened the thread I was just curious if anybody had worked on a similar project and could/would share his experiences and maybe give some valuable advice.

Meanwhile I’ve been digging through the “MQTT Client Component” instructions and set it up all by myself.
This part is working now :slight_smile:

I would be pleased if you would write a little more kindly in future.
If you think there is an unnecessary post then you don’t have to reply to it.
