ESPHome encryption key from file (not yaml)?

Hi everybody,

I will change my VLANs due to new hardware soon. This (probably??) means, all my ESPHome devices will be re-added to Home Assistant, because they will have different IP addresses.

I have the ESPHome yaml files for many of these devices, but not for all of them. I have the .storage/esphome.* files, of course. Each of those has a key line, but I’ve checked with a device that I do have the encryption key for, and they do not match.

Is there a way to assure that I can still use these ESPHome devices for which I do not have the original yaml file any longer after re-adding them to Home Assistant?

I am restructuring my home network: different VLANs, different IP subnets, etc. There is no way I can assign these devices their previous IP addresses (and Home Assistant itself will have a different IP address than it does at the moment as well).

Thanks in advance for your ideas
