ESPHome - Platformio issue

I am trying to install a “esp32-c3”. I am installing it from my Windows11 Laptop with the ESP32 plugged into the USB port. The lights on the board appear to be responding to the upload, but I get the following message:
(How do I upgrade? I can not locate anywhere that I can request that Home Assistant upgrade this?)
Thanks
“Platform Manager: Installing platformio/espressif32 @ 3.5.0
Error: Please upgrade to the PlatformIO Core 6”

(How do i upgrade? Can not locate anywhere that I can request that Home Assistant upgrade this?)
I have Home Assistant running on a RaspberryPi 4 with the Wi-Fi, the Pi up to date! I tried the command in the editor “platformio --version” but the command does not exist, also using “sudo”

INFO Configuration is valid!

How do you have ESPHOME installed? As an add-on?

If you are referencing “Supervisor/Add On’s” the answer is no as it is not listed there? Not sure as to where else that would be checked?

Do you know what you are doing, or is this copied from somewhere?
You don’t typically pin a framework version…

EDIT: Or is it the output of some command? What is your full esphome YAML?
