ESPHome Sonoff 4CH Pro not connected?

Over the weekend I created a VLAN for all my IOT devices. Since then my Sonoff 4CH Pro is showing “Offline” in the ESPHome Dashboard. I have give it a static IP in my router and also set the IP in the config yaml for the device.

Funny thing is that the ESPHome dashboard is saying it is offline but if I edit the yaml in the dashboard and upload it connects and modifies the file fine.

Has anyone seen this before?

How does the ESPHome Dashboard determine if a node is online?

I’m running ESPHome in a Docker container on my Windows computer, and I plan to integrate the nodes in a different system than Home Assistant (HomeSeer, to be precise). I’m compiling the binary files just fine, and I’m able to upload them to a node using OTA, since I’ve set the node up with a static IP address. But the node is still offline in the ESPHome Dashboard. Thanks for pointing me the right direction. I installed the MDNS Repeater plugin on my firewall, selected the VLAN’s and that solved it.
