ESPHome Thermometer delayed reporting

My DHT sensor is updating once a minute watching the logs. But if I look at the sensor itself in Hassio it randomly updates sometimes as long as 17 minutes.

I thought perhaps it only updates when the temp changes but that does not appear to be the case.

Any Ideas?
