I’ve been moving to Thread matter recently. I have a couple of Apple TVs that handle this nicely. A blind spot came up and i wanted to add another Border Router after i realized that the units don’t mesh. So, the Espressif ESP Thread Border Router/zigbee gateway seemed like a low cost way to do this. I used Claude Code to configure it…now it only seems to work when its plugged into my MacBook and is not part of the network when plugged into a usb-c power supply…Has anyone come across this? I told Claude to check the manufactures specs. It turning into a big time suck..
