I recently purchased the Matter enabled lock from Eufy. I have 2 of their other locks working fine with home assistant (c220 and a retrofit model). The original 2 locks us the Eufy security add-on no problem.
My issue is the new matter enable lock does not work through the Eufy security add-on (no controls or anything enabled). So I attempted to add the lock through matter to home assistant. Once I did that the lock worked and functions properly. However as soon as I leave my house I can no longer control the lock, and it shows up as “unavailable” and will not work again until I remove the device and readd it. then the cycle repeats.
Any thoughts or help appricated

Did you figure it out? I was looking into purchasing this lock, but will stay away if it doesn’t have good support for Home Assistant.
Hey yes I did. I reached out to them and they issued a firmware update and since then I’ve had no more problems.
I did:
- setup lock in eufy app - all works great
- updated lock to latest firmware v1.0.9.0
I am trying to add it to HA - eufy app does not provide setup code.
If I try to setup as new device - it will require removing from eufy app I believe.
Not sure what would be good way to do that. Really appreciate suggestions.

Good evening. I am new to this and I saw that you were able to get your Dufy C220 locks to work with home assistant. I have been trying for two weeks with no luck. Do you have any suggestions that I can use to link them up?
