Hi there. I don’t have any Eufy cameras yet but I am considering getting some and have been looking around for potentially useful Home Assistant integrations and stumbled upon this thread. I would be particularly interested in use of the integration for getting binary sensors in home assistant which reflect motion/presence detected by the cameras. Are these sensors dependent on the cloud, or is the state passed entirely locally from the camera to the integration? is it done by push or polling? Thanks.

Wow, found this while searching how to fix the existing eufy integration that has stopped showing images. All my cameras except the 2 original eufycam are detected and seem working, thanks.

This os sooo good. Working like a charm. Excellend camara card and feature I never saw in the three integrations I tested so far in the last years.

Thank you for this integration - my homebase 2 and my cameras are all detected.
The only thing I cannot figure out, is how to start a stream via a script or an automation.
While I do have the actions:
- eufy_event_gateway.capture_snapshot
- eufy_event_gateway.record_clip
available - this one is not offered to me:
eufy_event_gateway.get_stream_url
Any idea what could be wrong?
EDIT: That action did actually appear with the latest update.
And another problem:
If I start the stream by clicking on the respective camera — the stream does not stop when I close the pop-up window.
How do you manually bring the camera to a stop - meaning stop the stream and get it back to idle?

Tested successfully with Eufy C37 battery/solar powered cam without home base.
For years I’ve been trying and failing to get anything meaningful from Eufy in HA to no avail. Your project is the first one ever that seems to have gotten it right. I’m running the eufy SDK app and integration and installed yours in parallel - it’s a game changer thus far.
All my cameras seem to work , all of them seem to be producing snapshots, and most importantly , they start streaming quickly. I’ll spend some more time poking around in the next few days but so far I’m very impressed - thank you !

Tip for making even better use of this fantastic integration:
The Kiosk Satellite android app works great and can easily display the cameras full screen from the HA entities on demand over the HA dashboard.
Much easier than Fully Kiosk and Browser mod popup. Also much faster and full screen, which I never got in Fully Kiosk
