Eufyhome integration fails after Core 2026.10

My Eufy switch is not working after Core 2026.10 upgrade. I am using the built in HomeAssistant eufyhome integration. I only have one Eufy switch and it is not working anymore, I get this error “Failed to perform the action switch/turn_off. Field lakeside.SwitchState.state: Expected an int, got a boolean.” when I throw my swtich. Anyone else use Eufy?

Thank you for reporting this. Does this mean the fix then would have to be in a new release of core, since Eufy IS NOT a custom integration and is built into Home Assistant? I have rolled back to 2026.9.4.

was having the same issue, initially went to reddit where someone recommended the new eufy-sdk integration, but found that a LOT of the legacy devices which this eufyhome integration supports, are not supported in the new anker/eufy-sdk environment. Devices like smart switches, smart plugs, and Lumos bulbs aren’t compatible with the new Eufy-sdk integration and this Eufyhome is pretty useful for us still using their existing hardware.

Yes. Keep an eye out for it. If it’s released as a hotfix, those usually come out every Friday. If it’s part of the next regular release, those come out on the first Wednesday of the month
