European appliance recommendations

My home renovation project will be finished in a few weeks. So far, I have integrated my Huawei Solar and the Mitsubishi Ecodan Heat Pump, which have worked great.

I’ll be replacing most of the appliances, so I need to get a washing machine, clothes dryer, combi-microwave oven and perhaps a dishwasher. Brands I’m looking at include LG, Miele, Samsung, Siemens and Whirlpool.

Has anyone experience with the integration for any of these brands? I would prefer an integration that talks directly to the device rather than pulling the data from the manufacturers cloud service, but I won’t rule it out. I’m more concerned with reliability and support for the integration.

I live in Europe, so it needs to work with European models.

Thanks!

Local won’t happen in this decade.
We have a Bosh washing machine which uses the home connect integration and home connect alt integration.
It works most of the time but I believe it’s due to the API it sometimes does not work.

I believe Siemens and LG uses the same integration.

For us the most useful part of the smart washing machine is that we can turn it on remotely or set a time it should be finished at.
And that we can automate the air dryer on what temperature we have been washing.

Was it worth it? The added cost of this smart machine compared to the next lower version that still had i_dos system was not much, therefore it was worth it for us.
But if you compare a normal washing machine with this smart version then I’m not sure it’s worth it.

Thank you for that information, it’s as I suspected unfortunately.
Like you, I want to be able to set a start time and also alert us when the device cycle has finished.
My plan is to automate the start time so it makes efficient use of the batteries if they are charged, or else waits until the cheap rate electricity at night.
