Hello to one of the best communities out there! I thank you in advance for the will to help <3
I am in the process of moving in to a new Apartment, the developer has installed “stupid” switches for light and blinds and I am thinking to replace them but not sure to what yet…
Since I live in Europe, most YouTubers review mostly American style switches and I am not sure they will do for me so I prefer to stick with the EU standard.
I have some experience with Z-Wave switches I use in my current house but I cant say Im enjoying them so I rather try something better and newer.
Since our main ecosystem is Apple’s I thought that thread technology would work best for us since its more native to HomeKit than using bridges and other HomeKit integration in HA(they work fine but not 100%).
I am open for other options other than thread as long as it works well with HomeKit
The hub(HA Yellow with z-wave inside) is going to be connected in the middle of the house so it should have a strong signal but adding more hubs is not a problem.
Mostly need a built-in-wall Light Switches, Switches for blinds and smart outlets.
Has to be fast responding because my current z-wave mesh seems to have strong signal everywhere but because of the distance of the house and the mesh size, I often get delays in command execution in the far parts of the house.
Something nicer on the higher end would be perfect and even if a bit pricey, we are willing to spend since its a one time thing and if works well it doesnt matter.
Thank you very much for the help!
