Lately there are a lot of changes in the bluetooth modules used in home assistant. Sometimes this results in broken modules elsewhere.
In this case a new version of the bleak seems to handle device discovery differently.
The cometblue integration should probably now use the native bluetooth support in home assistant, e.g. for auto discovery and bluetooth proxies. Unfortunately this may take some time to fix, which I donât have at this time.

Hi, do you think youâll look into that in the next 2-3 months? right now using the comet blue is a little complicated and I wonder if I need to exchange the thermostats some time soon⌠have had them for a few years now and they still work, just getting them to run with home asisstant reliably seems to be difficult.
I was fighting a lot to fine MAC adress. The simplest way is to use Android phone with BLE scanner. (On Iphone the MAC are hidden).
