Eurotronic Spirit Z-Wave Plus - Randomly in InS mode

Hello everyone.
I bought 2 Eurotronic Spirit.
One is working fine, with the other I noticed a strange behavior…

It worked fine for some minutes, then it went in “InS” mode with Boost button blinking green.
It occures everytime, also after some resets.

This is the log (OZW.log) about that node when problem occured…

Hello,
I have similar issue with my Spirit TRVs randomly. I am not sure, but I think this issue happens mostly when the valve is long time in the heat mode regulating by small steps in middle valve positions and not going into fully closed and fully opened positions. This way it somehow gets confused what is the proper max and min position. This is just my theory right now. When I do full open close cycle at least once per day it seems this problem has disappeared for now (testing this at the moment for couple of days).

Worst case I don’t know how to detect the valve is in the error state and needs manual intervention (click on the green button). I use the Zwave2Mqtt integration. Any idea here?

Hi qwertyz, so…I’m not the only one.
I was desperate and I switched to Tado TRV…

Did you solve the problem?
I have three spirit z-wave plus and two with this problem

No I didn’t. Now I’m using Tado TRV

@Qwertyz since it’s been some time now, is the open/close cycle still working?
If so, how do you have it setup? Using the manufacturer specific mode to 0 and 100?

I’m having this problem with both my Spirit TRVs.

Same issue in other post

Same here; Anyone any idea as of why?

same issue here

Was this issue ever resolved? I have purchased a couple of second had Spirit z-wave TRVs and one of them is constantly going into InS mode - fix is easy - remove and reinstall batteries then press the boost button. Is there anything else that can be done?
Thanks

Issue was never resolved…
