Has it been considered to make generic components for EV Chargers and EV Cars (or perhaps just cars?) to standardize implementations of such? Not sure if I’m using the correct phrasing, but I’m thinking the way media_player is parent to Sonos, HEOS and similar. Kindof makes it easier if things work in the same manner, right?
I suppose there will be a lot of these integrations coming, lot’s are already present like KEBA charger, Tesla car, Tesla Powerwall, Nissan Leaf. I know a custom component is available (and hopefully getting official with time) for Volkswagen cars (including their EVs).
