Ewelink add-on refresh problem

I have a bit of an issue with the Ewelink Add-On (eWeLink Smart Home version 1.4.3).
Everything works fine (sensors, wifi switches, light switches), except for the Sonoff Zigbee S26R2ZB.
I have five of them…

Now before you’re going to tell me that there are known issues with the S26R2ZB (Sonoff S26R2ZB terrible performance · Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt · Discussion #10909 · GitHub) , it is not the case.

The S26R2ZB works just fine in Ewelink cloud. It evenworks fine in the Ewelink web-ui itself, I can toggle it off and on just fine.

What the issue is, that in the HASS dashboards that i’ve created, the plugs go offline and are not switchable neither usable by any automations that i’ve created. HASS thinks they are offline, but they are not.

And here is a twist, if I go into the ewelink add-on and click refresh, then these buttons are on-line in HASS again.

To me it seems like there is some timeout specified in Ewelink integrations with all kinds of switches, but seems to me that Zigbee protocol is somewhat slower and gets timed out. I suppose it is possible somehow to at least automate the refresh button there? Or increase the timeout.

I tried to embed media in this post (screenshots and what-not, but not allowed as a new user :frowning:

I’d appreciate any information

I fixed it myself. Uninstalled the Ewelink Add-on and installed the SonoffLAN: GitHub - AlexxIT/SonoffLAN: Control Sonoff Devices with eWeLink (original) firmware over LAN and/or Cloud from Home Assistant

Works perfectly.

Thanks, done the same
eWeLink was SO slow to respond to HA inputs, this works perfectly
