Ewelink TH01 not updating after battery swap

I am using 5 Ewelink TH01 for two years now.
First under ioBroker and switched to Home assistant two months ago. So far without anny issues. I have the Sonoff 3 Zigbee stick on a usbcable and 15+ working zigbee devices.

Yesterday I noticed that one Ewelink was showing NAN for Temp and Humi so I swapped the battery because those things do not report real battery values.
Aft I swapped the battery I had issues to reconnect so I reset it and try to pair again. However it only reads values for a couple of seconds and then it is stuck to those values.

What just happened? Do I have to wait a couple of hours?

I get the impression that zigbee is becoming more abd more unreliable these days. I have a ikea samla box full with broken or incompatible zigbee sensors and actors.

Thank you but after 5+ years I did all this and had a fine zigbee network.
In the meantime i managed to pair it once more and the humidity is updating fine. But the temp is still stuck at the first value after 20 hours.
