Exclude ZWAVE devices that has been included in other Zwave network

Hi, Is it possible (Using ZWAVE JS) to exclude ZWAVE devices that has been included in other Zwave network ??

Yes. Mostly just fine.

The worst case scenario is that all Z-Wave devices have a method to factory reset and this will wipe any linking from the device. I assume the dongle was moved from somewhere else? If so then exclusion will probably work.

Yes any hub can exclude a device even if it belongs to a different network.

Hi, How to do it with HA?

Go into Z-Wave JS and put it into exclude mode, then put the switch into exclude mode. Just look at the logs to make sure it worked but you should get a message that it excluded device X successfully.

Hi, I don´t see “Exclude Mode” in Z-WAVE JS

It’s the same place you include. Go into Z-Wave JS, click the icon on the lower right then click Manage Nodes (the infinity symbol):

And then you can include/exclude:

Settings → Devices & Services → Z-Wave → CONFIGURE → REMOVE DEVICE

I guess in the two year that gave passed this no longer works

Settings → Z-Wave → Options → Remove foreign device → Remove → Start exclusion

thanks I will give that a shot when a finish me next reinstallation. switch form intel too silicon mac has been a nightmare for me. On rebuild 7

Found it. Thanks… My project of getting Home Assistant ti run on a Linux VM to run on a Mac OS is a nightmare I get to use this tool. WAY to often
