Expierence with LUUMR Smart LED GX53 9W

Hi there,

I want to replace my dumb GX53 kitchen lights with these, which are supposed to have Zigbee support:

LUUMR Smart LED GX53 9W

I can’t find much about the brand “LUUMR” though. There’s an app for LUUMR on the Play Store which is made by Luqom Holding GMBH, the mother company of Lampenwelt (which is the mother company of lampen24 as well). I think LUUMR might be a re-branded version of some other brand (Tuya maybe?) or it’s possibly a private label brand of Lampenwelt GmbH.

Also, it seems to be the only GX53 light with Zigbee support I could find on the entire web. Even AliExpress doesn’t sell any.

Does anyone have experience with LUUMR and more specifically with these GX53 models? Is there any chance Home Assistant supports these or would it be a waste of money to buy them?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Tim

I’ve recently bought a LUUMR Smart LED GX53 9W Zigbee and tried to add it to my existing hue environment. I didn’t get lucky sadly i have no other Zigbee Hub available at the moment, to test ist with a more open Environment.

The LUUMR App is just rebranded Tuya. So far i had no luck with the light at all.

I just tested one, but no luck — I couldn’t connect it to my Sonoff Hub ZBBridge via ZHA.

Hi,

I bought 3 pcs of these and they connected right away.
I use Zigbee2MQTT, and the hardware is a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 Dongle Plus.

Here are screenshots of the information it gives.

I got a couple of those and upon installing them they went directly into pairing mode and was easy to add them to Z2M.

But since then I have been totally unable to put them in pairing mode again, no matter how many different sequences I tried… Very frustrating.

Edit: Managed to go into pairing mode thanks to this Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/comments/1geca4v/comment/lubjd5x/

Turn off - wait 15 seconds - turn on - wait 200ms - turn off - wait 3000ms - turn on - wait 200ms - turn off - wait 3000ms - turn on.

But the devices are very flaky, I can’t get to reconnect one of them. Would love to have ther GX53 zigbee alternatives.

Does anyone have any epxerience pairing these with the IKEA dirigera hub? Looking to also replace the GX53 LEDS in my kitchen, and these indeed seem like the only zigbee compatible GX53 LEDS on the market sadly, seeing very mixed reviews.
