Exporting Energy data inlcuding cost

Hi
I’m endeavouring into the Energy dashboard. I’ve made it work to me liking and get a lot of good data. I’ve hooked it up with an energy data service which gets the prices per hour through the day. That way I get a total shown in the dashboard of how much cost I’ve incurred.

Now, I would like a breakdown of the cost metric by the hour, but I can’t seem to find it. I would like to see the charges per hour when exporting the data (in the upper right corner, “…” → “Download data”). Is it possible to get a view of some sort where I can achieve this?

The topic is a bit older but I’m running into the same thing.

In the energy dashboard you can export data

  • if you see a week with 7 days you get 7 values (for each energy source)
  • if you see a year with 12 months you get 12 values (one for each month)

Ideally I want to export/dump the full energy database to a csv file.
Haven’t found out how to export every single detail of the energy database.

I think you want to view the price history. Click the price entity (you can find it under the integration, which is under settings → devices) and then select “show more”
If you want to get the cost history you need to download the price data there and the energy data from the energy dashboard and then combine the data.
