External dashboard - user roles alternative

Hello. I would like to have HA dashboard which will be blocked for acces to settings and all other tools for selected users. I tried kiosk modes, fullscreen etc but this is imposible to realize due to lack of user based rights right now.
So I think maybe external dashboard base on PHP, NodeRed (dashboard) or other solution could be right for me.

Do you have some experience with this? If I will use NodeRed running on same machine (as HA addon) wiil I be able to read all HA outputs? And if I use external online app (PHP or something) - what is the best way to propagate all HA sensors and accept inputs like switches etc? MQTT, webhooks…?

Thank you for pointing me.

In Settings → People → Users you can set if a user has admin rights or not.

But admin rights will not “hide” left menu, “home assistant” header etc. Yes, you can define which dashboard will be visible for which users but there is no way how to hide everything but single dashboard (without any menu) for defined user.

Correct. I think there may be a custom integration that can be used for it.

As standard you can remove the items in the side menu for each browser but it’s not restricted such that the person could bring them back.

??

But still the same problem. You have MENU visible and with menu you can access many things… Yes, you can hide certain dashboard but not MENU. Am I right?
