EZViz Camera connection to HA

In new cameras such as BC1, BC2, BM1 and many others that came out in 2023 there is no RTSP and 8000 port in firmware from start, so no Local WAN View except if it is connected to its own AP (not connected to your wifi router). New ezviz cameras only support to enter LAN live view by connecting device hotspot method. You need manually change your cam to create its own AP or otherwise you will not find it through Ezviz app using Scan. Then user name will be EZVIZ_admin and password EZVIZ_VerficationCode, but I doubt it will help you because once it will automatically connect to wifi the problem will stay the same no image…

Please follow the steps below to access the camera LAN LIVE VIEW (Hotspot or AP Method):

1.Login your EZVIZ Account.

  1. Power on the camera, wait about 1 minute until the indicator light change into blue light flashing quickly. If the indicator always red flashing slow, please press the Reset button for about 10 seconds until hearing the voice tone “Reset Successfully”, then wait for indicator light change into blue flashing quickly.

  2. Go to the Wifi Settings page of your phone and make your phone connect to the camera Wifi (AP), the SSID is EZVIZ_SN number, the password is EZVIZ_Verification code.

  3. Enter profile photo page-General settings-LAN live view, scan for the camera, input admin as the username and input the verification code of the device as the password. Then you will be able to see the live feed of your camera smoothly.

Actually you can enable 554 again using the HiLookVision software. It sees the EZViz cams and I was able to enable 554 on the device’s Remote Configuration page. Once you save the settings 554 on and you’re back in business.

With new firmware each camera stops port 8000 (Service port) therefore its impossible to even connect to PC App for Settings and it doesnt matter if its HiLook, HikConnect or Ezviz app, so it won’t be possible to enable 554 again unless you do firmware downgrade. As for new cameras I mentioned such as BC1 and others 2023 models there is no port 554, 8000 in Firmware from begining.

So for your privacy, it is a really good reason to forget about these cloud only cameras. EzWiz is doing it only for your safety and security…

Ezviz doing that only because they are too lazy to fix security issues))) Hikvision/Hilook basically same brand as Ezviz but more professional segment works fine on Ezviz app with hikconnect and has rtsp and onvif still. IMOU (Dahua) is same p2p cloud brand for home users but it still has ONVIF along with RTSP )

Merhaba Bende de Ezvız DP2C modeli kapı dürbünü var tanımlamaları yaptım fakat kamera görüntüsü alamıyorum yaptığınız işlemi paylaşırsanız sevinirim.
