Does anyone know if it’s possible to capture doorbell presses on the DB1C doorbell in Home Assistant? I’m using the Ezviz smart chime, connected to the DB1C, for audible notifications at the moment but it’s not very loud, and easy to miss.
Ever figure this out?
Yes I used a Sage Zigbee Doorbell sensor with the DB1C

what did you have to do to get the DB1C to send a “button press” to the Sage? Right now mine doesn’t recognize a button press.
If it’s wired in correctly the button press gets sent to the Sage automatically. The main problem I had was finding the right transformer. I tried 2 others (with seemingly correct specs), but it wasn’t until I bought the Ezviz transformer that everything clicked into place.
How do you have the “chime” configured on the DB1C?
Yes I do - I also have the Ezviz wireless chime
I think that’s my issue - I’ll have to hard reset the doorbell and reconfigure with a chime enabled in software.
