Hi there.
Im trying to set my HA to activate routines when a certain face is detected on a camera source.
I’ve managed to do it , using facebox and the image processing function.
However I am noticing thay the actual facial detection process is very slow and laggy.
I literally have to have my face staring unmoving at the camera for 15+ seconds.
I’m unsure what is causing this bottleneck…
*If it’s the power of the pc I’m using??( it’s ok but not ground breaking)
*if it’s the system I’m using for facial recognition , eg facebox and image processing of a camera feed on HA ??
- if it’s just HA and I need to lower my expectations??
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
