Looking in GitHub, I found a Python library called face_recognition.
Maybe someone had already integrate it with HASS?

It may be more simple. Yo don’t need a api key. It is local.

How could you use this? Could be e.g. a camera in each room which is works as a presence detection in a room? The camera would recognize who is home or even who is in which room.
Exactly. You can configure the camera that you want to use the face recognition.
