Failed at the first step...!

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help! Received Homeassistant green today but already encountered an issue. All connected up as required with hardwired connection. Went to URL and proceeded to create a new account, input credentials but it hung submitting for 20 minutes. Restarted both browser and device, it now sends me to a login screen via app or web browser to which neither the username or password are recognised!

Im in a pickle, as i cannot fathom how to proceed, any help much appreciated.

Hi, welcome. Not the first start you hoped for I imagine. As you didn’t do anything yet, I’d go for resetting the Green and trying again. A wired network setup works best, and I think you need internet for the first setup, to check for updates. Id you have AdGuard or a PiHole, maybe try disabeling then in case you have a too agressive blocklist?
