I’m trying to setup my Google Chromecast with Google TV via the official instructions (Android TV - Home Assistant).
- Have reset the Chromecast
- Enabled ADB on the Chromecast and given it a static IP
- Added the integration but can’t connect; I can ping the device
NOTE: I’m on the latest HA release.
EDIT: I tried to take the ADB server route but can’t find the add-on (cleared the cache). Is this no longer available or has the name changed?

My issue was that I didn’t acknowledge the popup on the chromecast. Once I did that the setup completed

is it still possible to make a tv remote with the navigation buttons through ADB?
I tried and never got it to work it was super slow, I ended up using the Android TV Remote integration instead.

Thanks, I tried that before but for some reason I got an error trying to set android tv remote up. But today it worked as it should and no more lag! ![ ](https://community.home-assistant.io/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=10)

Love the Android TV Remote. Only issue is Netflix navigation doesn’t work. Can start it but the navigation within Netflix doesn’t work
Oh that sucks. I don’t have Netflix anymore so I didn’t run into this. Good to know if I ever re-activate my account.
