False login attempt or request with invalid authentication

I have noticed since upgrading to 0.100.3 that I’m getting a lot of false invalid login attempts showing up in notifications. Mostly on a restart of HA.

Anyone else seeing this?

Do you have any picture entity card with camera stream?

Yes I do. There is a issue with doing that?

I had the same problem. First try deleting this picture-entity card and check if you have any invalid authentication problems. My issue was solved this way; so to overcome the problem i had to use a reverse_proxy and use the config changes in https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/issues/23055 and add back my picture entity card.

Hi,

I’ve been getting “Login attempt or request with invalid authentication from …”. I believe this may be an issue with my iPhone Hass app (currently 2019.1, but previous app did it too).

I’ll notice it when I take out my phone and use the app. Interestingly, it seems to happen even when I’m inside my network (i.e. WiFi to my local IP) I should try to do a tcpdump on my RPi4, but I haven’t had time yet.

Anyone having similar issues? I suppose I can not use the app and try to use only the web browser version for a while and see if it comes back?
