Feature for xiaomi gateway

Please insert ability to Arm or DisArm Alarm in xiaomi gateway and display status arm/disarm in gateway.

This that you ask, is not possible if xiaomi doesn’t open in the api of the gateway.

Is it possible to add Mi Flora plant sensor by the Xiaomi gateway component in HA?

MiFlora is a bluetooth LE device, not zigbee.
Xiaomi gatewaydoes not support this device, and hence HA cannot add support for it.
AFAIK the gateway does not have any BLE radio, so we will never see support.

There are separate threads for miflora, and you need a BLE adaptor.

Thanks @hijinx for your answer. I don’t understand. I have connect this sensor with the Xiaomi gateway with the software Home software from the gateway. With the software on my ipad i can see all the info. I don’t understand why HA can see al the info from the gateway and his sensors and but not the Flora sensor. Sorry… Can you explane it?

The mihome app supports the miflora plant monitor but the gateway does not.
I assume that the mihome app uses phones BLE.
If you go to gateway and add subdevice you can see the devices the GW supports natively.

With the new BLE/Wifi Gateway as bedsidelamp and other (camera, etc), is possible to see values of the mi flora using this gateways in HA?

I have a xiaomi camera with ble gateway feature. All my mi flora ble devices are exposed to the internet with this gateway. Is it possible to expose this interface to homeassistant also. Thank you.

As far as I know the camera only forwards the ble device’s information to the gateway. So that in can be accessed online. Yes, I also check the camera threat from time to time but have not managed to see any information regarding this feature request.

what is the exact model of your xiaomi camera please?

The model is SXJ01ZM. It is the old version with black backside. They are quite hard to find these days. The new ones (with white backside) don’t have the ble gateway feature.
Currently I just use the miflora component from hass to connect the bluetooth devices directly.
