I just had an idea about a possible feature for the official HA app.
I think it would be nice, if in case of a really important notification (e. G. Home intruder alarm, Windows open while leaving home zone, someone rang the door bell etc.), you’d get a “call” from the app itself. Not like a real call, just something like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram is doing.
Because if get just a notification while driving for example, I won’t look at it. But if I get a call, my music stops and my car tells me, who (or what app) is ringing.
In addition, you could also use Alexa, for example, to search for several cell phones in the house. If I ask alexa “where is my phone” she will just call my alexa app, but I could then change it to call my or my girlfriends Home Assistant app.
I’m pretty sure there are even more scenarios, where it would be useful to let the HA app ring.
