Feature request: NETGEAR Integration - do not create device trackers

Hi, I would like to suggest an option for the NETGEAR integration, to prevent creating device tracker entries.

My use case for the integration is that I use it to pull information out of the router itself, specifically data count to keep an eye on monthly transfer cap.

Yet because I have a lot of Tasmota and other Wifi devices, these get discovered by the router and the integration in turn creates 100+ new devices which I have no use for. Can we please have an option to turn off this behavior?

I don’t know about this one, but a while back core was adjusted to by default make these integrations NOT report device_tracker, and make it an opt-in in the integration page. You should check there to make sure this isn’t already available.
This is the PFSense router integration for example.
