Hi, a few days ago (April 26th) I created a Home Assistant Community forum account and wrote a reply post in the thread Rooting to save the Nest Thermostat , the contents of the post were similar to what I also had on See https://community.home-assistant.io/t/rooting-to-save-the-nest-thermostat/11... | Hacker News .
I checked today and noticed the post is gone, along with my account (which was just recreated under the same username ‘fortfunsun’), and the original email I used now results in a ‘Primary email not allowed’ error when trying to setup a new account. No warning message or anything as far as I can tell either.
Can we have a conversation about what might have triggered my post and account removal, and ban of email address? As someone who also moderates forums, I realize we make mistakes at times and hope we can all learn from this.
