Ferroli A/C

Hello, everyone,
has anyone managed to integrate Ferroli smart air conditioners in a ‘simple’ way without using the broadlink?

Is it possible to create a new integration? Unfortunately I am not able to.

Thanks for your help!

If you have the air conditioner with wi-fi connection try with midea ac lan, otherwise you can try Sensibo Sky

Did you manage to connect your Ferroli ac? i have a multisplit ac from them and i am trying to do the same thing, so far, no luck :frowning:

Any luck with that?

Anyone solved the Ferroli AC Split wifi integration with home assistant?

Ferroli ACs are rebranded Midea. I can confirm that at lease the multi-split ones (Ferroli Giada M) works fine with any Midea integration (from HACS).

Hi @Copilus

Do you know if you can use a wifi stick like this for Giada M?

Hi Copilus, i have 2 split Ferroli and tried to set with Midea integration withou success… can you explain how i can do?

Hello there, I too own a Ferroli split system, in particular an Aster S model: based on my testing, that system uses the Airton infra-red protocol, not the Midea one.
I can also point you towards this GitHub issue where an user has got working an older model than mine using TCL’s protocol.

I am replying to this thread hoping that other Ferroli owners will share more information and expand our knowledge of their product line and which protocol the internal units speak.

Also, for Giada and newer internal unit owners: as other have pointed out previously, it would be very interesting if you could check under the plastic cover for the filters if an USB adapter is inserted into the circuit board that houses the IR receiver and the LED display.
