Fibaro Dimmer 2 flips 2 times before turnin goff

I have a fibaro switch and it’s working fine over the switch on the wall. But when i switch the light out over the webinterface it switches off then quick on and then finaly off. Well no big Problem…but I have a trigger which get started with this strange behavier…anyone a idea what i could do?

Btw: When is set the fibaro to no dimmer it works just fine…it’s just when this dimmer is enabled the light is not going out instead it dims out…but again strange the problem is only over the web interface. When i use the wall switch my trigger get’s started.

Just installed fresh install of home assistant and added Z-Wave Gen5 stick with a fibaro dimmer 2.
Can not notice the behaviour you have. But have around 4 lights for it. Only the first one works. Not sure what the others are for

light.fibaro_system_fgd212_dimmer_2_level_2_0
llight.fibaro_system_fgd212_dimmer_2_level_2_0_2
llight.fibaro_system_fgd212_dimmer_2_step_size_2_6

I have noticed with my Fibaro Dimmer 2’s that when switching off via the web interface the toggle switch goes off, on (quickly), off.
I don’t really notice it with my LEDs, maybe a slight flicker as they are switching off.

What I have noticed using the web interface to switch them on, they go straight to 100%, whereas using the switch will go back to the last percentage (which I prefer).

I found the solution.

Settings this here to zero did the trick for me.

  1. Incandescence time of dimmable compact fluorescent lamps
This parameter determines the time required for switching compact
fluorescent lamps and certain types of light sources. Setting this parameter
to 0 will disable the incandescence functionality.

That parameter is already set to 0 for me… Its only a really smaller flicker for me and barely noticeable so I think I will just deal with it.

I could life with the flicker but my problem was that my trigger got started due it.

I’m noticing the same thing with my Fibaro dimmers, anyone know of a solution?
I don’t think it always behaved like this, in a older version I seem to recall that it did switch back to the last percentage.

I’ve noticed this too, I wonder if the light component is sending a brightness=max as well as a turn on command, maybe open a bug in guthub:

Edit: just tested this and I think this is a valid bug, who’s going to open the github bug ?

UPDATE - I opened the bug report:

Thanks! Still migrating over from vera but would be nice if everything worked the same.

Finally found the thread. Exactly the same issue. 0.38 HASS - still and seems as if the problem is fixed - but i still get this. Wonder if animated gif will work. I only click once to set it off.
Incandescence time of dimmable compact fluorescent lamps is already in zero
