Fibaro Door and Windows sensor "dies" after an hour

Is anyone successfully using Fibaro’s Door and Window sensor FGK-101 with Home Assistant, and wouldn’t mind sharing their configuration for it? I’m having lots of troubles with mine. I am using the latest Home Assistant in a Python 3.5 virtual environment on a Raspberry Pi 3. My Z-Wave controller is a Zwave.me UZB 1 dongle. All other devices work fine.

If I factory reset the device and re-include it, and change param 5 to GENERIC_ALARM, a bunch of sensors pop up and it works fine for a while. I see the temperature changing (I installed a temperature sensor in it) and the binary sensor triggers fine when opening and closing the door.

However, after an hour or so the device seems completely dead. The values don’t change and I get no logs at all from this node in Home Assistant. The device’s LED indicates open/close and I checked the battery as well. I know the device is OK because I used it in my old Vera Edge setup for almost two years without a single problem. The device stays in cache load state forever (I let it be for three days thinking it might wake up but it doesn’t) and the only way to remove it is to factory reset it and call remove failed node from HA.

Any ideas?

Well it seems parameter 5 is reverted from GENERIC_ALARM back to BASIC_SET after some time… no idea why.

I have the same trouble ! I change the battery 2 days ago and now it’s empty !
But I don’t find your parameter !

That’s weird, because, “sentCnt” and “receivedCnt” are really high !!
The average of my other door sensors is 20-30 !!

Do you have an idea ?
