Fibaro "exclude" items and "switch as light"

Hi,
I’m planning to replace my Vera hub with a fibaro HC2 which is now supported in be new release.

Is it possible to use the “exclude” and “lights” keywords like for the Vera platform to exclude some exposed items and use switches as lights?

If not, is there a workaround for this?

Found My own answers, documenting here:

  • exclude function can be done simply by either:

    • hiding the entity in HA
    • Using a specific fibaro user who does not have access to all fibaro devices in the HC2 (access control)

  • Switch as light
    it is completely supported within the fibaro platform as you may change a power switch to a light entity in the HC2 after inclusion.
