I first had only “Sensor” showing up. I invested at least 5 hours of my life in this problem: FGMS-001 did not show up properly in HASS. I tried a lot and ended up with this easy solution. Doing this suddenly “Fibaro System FGMS001 Motion Sensor Sensor” showed up.
Go near your z-wave controller device and press the button of your motion sensor at least three times till it gets blue. Repeat this as long as nothing shows up at HASS UI. The result shoud be like this:
So the problem was most likely the communication. I don’t now why, but this seems to be the solution. I thought z-wave would communicate like a mesh. But apparently HASS or it’s underlying component need a faster connection.
