The new Fibaro wall plug for HomeKit (F series), which is not a z-wave unit, can be added to HA using the HomeKit Controller Integration through the IP address. However the state is only in-use or not in use. I would like to know what the energy use is of the appliance plugged in to the wall plug. Is it possible to add attributes to the switch such as device_class: energy, state_class: total_increasing and unit_of_measurement: kWh?
I approve of this Feature Request. I thought this was already implemented… what’s missing? What can I do to assist?
I added to Figaro plug through the Figaro app on my iPhone and then deleted the plug from the app. Home assistant found the wall plug but there are only to options: identify and switch but nothing else. I was hoping that HA would also give me the power and energy usage but that doesn’t seem to be the case
