Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 (FGR-223) - cannot get it to work properly

Well, as long as it’s working a FW update always poses a risk, so I’d just leave it as is…

Hi again!
Does someone know how can i get the shutter position in Red node? In this case the “attributes -
current_position”.
I just want to create a “get entities” that checks all shutters that are < 100% open and then send the open command only for those.

Thanks!

Could you in few words describe how did you manage to connect them to Home Assistant ? I’m trying to move from Fibaro HC-2 to HA, but I encounter a lot of up’s and down’s. One of the down’s is trying to connect Fibaro roller shutter to be invoked by Aqara switch.

In HA go to
Settings > Devices & service > Devices (devices tab on top) > Add device (right side blue button)
A Popup appreas:

Go to your Fibaro device (which is already connected to your wall switches & has power connection) and perform inclusion steps by quickly tripple click S1 (open)

go back to HA and enter the security PIN which is printed on Fibaro wall device

done

Hi everyone,

I’m using a Fibaro Roller Shutter 4 integrated into Home Assistant via Z-Wave JS, and I’m running into two issues:
1. No tilt control in HomeKit
For some reason, tilt functionality isn’t showing up in the HomeKit app. I can control the cover position just fine, but there’s no option to adjust the tilt angle of the blinds. In Home Assistant, I can see current_tilt_position, and the device supports tilt (confirmed via attributes and services), but HomeKit only exposes basic position control. Has anyone managed to get tilt working in HomeKit via the Home Assistant bridge?
2. Annoying tilt memory behavior
When I use the physical wall switch to move the blinds to any position, the Roller Shutter seems to “remember” the last tilt setting. So even if someone (e.g. my partner) fully lowers the blinds at night, the slats will automatically tilt back to their previous angle—usually partially open—which is not ideal for privacy or darkness. Is there any way to prevent this behavior or reset the tilt automatically when the blinds are fully closed?

Any insight or experience with either of these issues would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
