FIlament Style RGBIC+WW Bulbs

Has anybody see anything like these that doesn’t have a terrible controller?

The filament they use is very nice looking, but there’s no app control and it seems like you’re at the mercy of the little remote that comes with it. Plus I don’t know that there’s true individual bulb control.
There’s probably a little chip that gets the signal to be in one of it’s goofy modes and does it’s gaudy thing.
Seems like an LED filament with a lot of potential that’s exactly what I want, just not controlled in a way I want.
Thanks.

I’m a big fan of these filament style LED bulbs, regardless of all the disadvantages they have. I just like the vintage look, especially in the garden. I’d love some nice color temperature adjustable or RGB ones. But honestly, the ones you linked there on Amazon, they look like total garbage. 15W for 15 bulbs, that’s 1W per bulb. And 2000 Lumen, per lamp at 1W ?! They’re coming with an extra laws of physics bending module then… Unless that’s 2000 Lumen for all the 15 bulbs together. In which case they would be extremely dim.

I usually buy these (dumb) Phillips ones, because I can easily get them at the local brick and mortar store. They look nice, but they’re obviously single color. These type of bulbs also have a big problem with heat dissipation and longetivity. But that’s probably true for all manufacturers.

So yeah, if anyone knows some good ones, I’d be interested too.

I agree, I only linked them because they are the best physical representation of what I’m looking for in a product. My Govee string lights I replaced my filament LED lights on the front porch with are nice and RGBWW but the filaments look so much nicer. I guess until my consumerist perversion is satisfied I could run the Govee RGB and the filament white and just switch which one is active based on holiday lighting desires.
