File integration and file path

OK, trying to setup a logfile for the events i’m interested in.
Installation of the File integration wants to know the path to a folder that can hold the logfiles.
In Terminal/SSH, I setup /config/Logfiles, and made sure the permissions were rwx for anyone.
I enter “/config/Logfiles” &. get “Access to the selected path is not allowed”.

What am I doing wrong?

The /config (or the /homeassistant) may be implied as part of the path, not sure.
Also if you are adding folders that you want to access, you have to list that in the homeassistant.yaml file

  allowlist_external_dirs:

Home Assistant Core Integration - Home Assistant.
Folder - Home Assistant.
