i knew this is very late
but is there any Option, to make the “Artwork” or the Picture of the Card as an entitiy ? (like a mediaplayer one ?)
cause is, ive got an unfolded Circle Remote 2 Remote Control, and theres a widget who can show which ure Playing, so showing that Cover on that MediaPlayer from Xbox would very neat, its an gimmick, i knew…but for the Playstation it exists as an whole integration… so…maybe its possible for Xbox too ?
now ill get an “Refresh Page” on my Dashboard and in the Logfile:

Hello, could you paste your configuration for the media_player template? I’ve tried, but I can’t seem to get it to show the image. I have an Unfolded Circle Remote 3 and would like to do the same as you.
As far as I know, Xbox doesn’t expose the artwork/cover as a separate media entity the way PlayStation does. You usually just get basic media info (title, state, etc.), but not the actual cover image that can be reused as its own entity for widgets or remotes. So unfortunately, showing the cover on something like the unfolded Circle Remote widget isn’t really possible right now.
