Finding ESP based LED controllers

Hi all,

I’m trying to get started with this Home Assistant deal, and I’m running into an issue with LED controllers. It seems most of the MagicHome controllers are no longer reliably ESP based chips that can be flashed to run ESPHome or Tasmota (I cracked one of my controllers open and it was a gosh darn BL602 chip instead of an ESP).

Does anybody have any leads on listings that still use an ESP chip? I’d really like to use these controllers since they’re cheap, and the ESPHome firmware seems promising. Some people have said they just buy a whole bunch of them and return the ones that aren’t ESP chips, but I’d rather avoid that if possible.

(I’m specifically looking for RGBW controllers that can also do 24v)

I’ve not bought one in a wile.
But this is my go to controller. There are all over Aliexpress, Banggood, Amazon, Ebay.
