When I started scanning for bluetooth LE devices from my RPi, I found several new devices. Some I could eliminate, but others came up with unknown as the vendor ID. My thought is these are the key fobs for our cars. Has anyone used this before for presence detection/tracking? Any though as to how to determine which key fob maps to which MAC address?
Can you not just remove a key fob from the area and see which MAC address disappears?
Well, I suppose I could use the obvious solution…
