FIO RS2,0 G4 Gas Meter with reed sensor

Hi all,
unfortunately my gas supplier decided to install a new meter a couple of weeks ago. So far I had a perfect solution running, to get with a reed contact an puls every 0.01m³ by using my Actaris G4 RF1.

Now I got a G4 RS2.0 from Pietro Fiorentini:

Also this one should have a magnet and be usable with a reed contact:

I don’t have the one in the last link but a stupid simple reed contact. With that I cannot find any position that closes the contact properly.

Did anybody of you has such an installation and found a position of the reed contact that is working properly?

Dear Meinereiner,

how did your solution look like for the Actaris G4 RF1? Right now I look for a good solution but sadly there is none that caught my eye immediately.
The only thing that I am sure about is that the homematic solution does not fit for Actariss G4 RF1.

Hi pimperator,
For me it was perfectly working with a simple window contact. You only need to place it correctly.
I unfortunately don’t have a picture anymore but in case that you get one of those white contacts with an edge where you have two holes for srews in it put that up and completely to the right (the backside should be on top now). Take some tiny wood pieces and put it under it that the sensor is pushed to the top.
I bought my sensor on Amazon, pretty cheap and working like a charm …

… But not with the new meter! :frowning:

I have the same problem… it is possible to read this gas meter? someone has experience?
